Good Morning to all.
Spring seems to abound in Mpls. We have had a week of warmer weather and a bit of rain to make the grass wake up and begin to turn GREEN.
Doris' Tuesday (in one day out the next) turned into another short week of hospitalization that lasted until late Saturday afternoon.
She is now under the care of nurse JIM and with the additional great help and dedication, from Connie who resides with her husband Lloyd on the 17th floor.
Connie has become adept of helping me take care of Doris and the ever present catheter that seems to follow her home after each hospital stay.
Doris has been promised, that on Thursday of this week, upon her arrival at U of M Fairview it will be removed. AMEM!
She will not be returning to Kenwood School for at least another week and then Summer Vacations will not be far behind.
The tomato plants are begining to take over to table and the sunniest window in our 17 floor home. I am anxiously awaiting warmer weather so the little fellas can be placed in their own special garden (thanks to Daughter Jane) in the parking lot at Eide Saw Company.
Last year they did well and this year after some re-education of my gardening skills we are hoping for an even better year of productivity.
The prostrate cancer that Jim was treated for for the last couple of years, has been sucessful. The enemy has proven that these pirates at least, have given up.
My next check up with the good Dr. Moore is on July 17, 09.
Thanks to all for your notes and your interest.
Doris and I do appreciate.
